Job summary

NextVentures is currently supporting one of the big 4 consultancies by expanding their AI team in the Netherlands. They’re looking for 2 AI Engineers to join the effort.

Role involves engaging with use-case teams to understand problems, translate insights into platform improvements, and build AI agents and tools. You should have a CS degree and hands-on AI/LLM experience, Python, LangChain or similar, and cloud familiarity. Two days per week on-site in Eindhoven.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications (RAG, tool-calling, MCP integrations).
• Proficiency in Python; experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).
• Familiarity with developer tooling: CI/CD, Docker, Git, templating tools.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Strong consultancy and communications skills; able to extract the real problem behind a customer request and act on it.
• Experience with MLOps tooling and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with use case teams to understand their problems, blockers, and needs.
• Translate those insights into concrete platform improvements: better services, templates, tooling, or documentation.
• Build and maintain AI agents and tools that accelerate how use cases get enabled.
• Identify recurring pain points and drive structural fixes rather than one-off solutions.
• Sustain and maintain the software underpinning enablement services so the team can scale.
