Job summary

Basware is seeking a Portfolio Architect to own the architectural vision for their product portfolio, greatly influencing the integration of AI across their SaaS solutions. You'll partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to ensure coherent and scalable architecture, enhancing financial automation for their global clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution, Portfolio or Principal Architect at a $300M+ ARR SaaS company.
• Hands-on expertise in AI/ML engineering — specifically in one or more of: LLMs, agentic systems, vector stores.
• Strong track record of defining and communicating architectural vision.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the portfolio-level technical architecture.
• Lead architectural decisions across AI capabilities.
• Own the MLOps architecture: model training pipelines and monitoring.
