ASML's Virtual Computing Platform team in Veldhoven offers an internship focused on cloud cost visibility, forecasting, and optimization through AI. You will collaborate with cloud architects, platform engineers, product teams, and FinOps stakeholders to develop practical AI solutions that help engineering teams understand spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, evaluation, and presenting adoptable guidance to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor or master's in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Hands-on experience designing and building AI-driven applications or workflows.
Knowledge of machine learning, generative AI, or large language models.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and collaborative in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze cloud consumption and spending patterns across engineering environments.
Develop AI-driven prototypes and PoCs for Cloud Cost Intelligence.
Build AI agents for cost attribution, optimization analysis, forecasting, and recommendations.
Explore how AI can improve cloud cost transparency and optimization activities.
Measure impact and business value of proposed solutions and present findings.
