Job summary

Jumbo Group is seeking a BI & Data Management Lead to build and run a modern, AI-enabled data function. You will be hands-on with data, dashboards and AI initiatives, while guiding the team and reporting to leadership.

You will own KPI definitions, governance and the data warehouse roadmap, collaborating with Finance, Sales, Operations and Marketing to deliver practical, high-value insights.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Power BI: data modelling, DAX, semantic models and dashboard design.
• Solid SQL and genuine comfort working with a data warehouse.
• A real enthusiasm for AI and hands-on experience applying it to data, e.g. LLM-based Q&A over data.
• A track record of defining KPIs and metrics and driving consistency and governance.
• The ability to turn business questions into clear, trusted reporting.
• Real stakeholder skills: align and challenge across functions and up to leadership.
• A coaching mindset; developing others.

Responsibilities

• Design and build KPI cockpits: focused, role- and function-specific views using Power BI.
• Own and improve Power BI dashboards, data models and semantic layers, and drive adoption across business units.
• Work directly in the data warehouse and align it with reporting, KPI and AI needs.
• Coach and develop the BI Analyst on the craft: data modelling, DAX, definitions, dashboard design and delivery.
• Lead AI Data Warehouse Q&A initiatives and shape tooling and platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI).
• Ensure clean definitions and a well-structured warehouse for trustworthy AI-driven decisions.
• Set the BI/Data function roadmap and maturity plan for 2027 and beyond.
• Align stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Ops and Marketing.
