Job summary

agap2 Netherlands is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) from design to production, translating concepts into clear, executable steps.

You will develop new production processes, prepare products for transfer to Slovakia, and collaborate with account, test and process engineers. The role requires an MBO in engineering, aerospace industry experience, strong English communication, and a structured, hands-on approach in a hybrid Netherlands environment.

Qualifications

• MBO diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Strong experience in the aerospace/aviation industry.
• Experience with defining production processes and creating work instructions.
• Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Work Planner/Werkvoorbereider, CNC Machinist, Maintenance Technician or Electrician.
• Familiar with New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
• A structured, process-oriented way of working.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Dutch and German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing new production processes
• Preparing new products for production and supporting NPI
• Creating work instructions / TPDs
• Setting up and fine-tuning cutting, stripping, crimping and labelling machines
• Providing technical support to operators on the production floor
• Developing and improving tooling and workplace solutions, including 3D-printed tooling
• Improving production efficiency, output, reliability and lead times
• Preparing products for transfer to the production facility in Slovakia
• Working closely with Account Engineers, Test Engineers and Process Engineers
