Job summary

Nomios Netherlands is seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist to join the Finance team in Leiden. The role focuses primarily on Accounts Payable (about 90%), with some Accounts Receivable support, ensuring timely, accurate financial processing in line with controls.

You will process supplier invoices, expenses, maintain vendor master data, support month-end, VAT, and audits, and collaborate with the group Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin, or related field.
• Fluency in Dutch and strong English communication.
• Minimum 3 years in Accounts Payable or related finance role.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
• VAT processing and reconciliations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and employee expenses accurately and on time.
• Support AP reporting, reconciliations and month-end activities.
• Assist with bank transactions processing and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and VAT requirements.
• Support audits and finance projects.
