Qualifications

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team and drive growth across the North Holland and Northern Netherlands market for outdoor products, covering areas in North and part of South Holland such as Utrecht, Gelderland, Overijssel, Flevoland, Drenthe, Groningen and Friesland and surrounding regions. This is a field-based role, focused on acquiring new customers, nurturing long-term relationships, and delivering exceptional service throughout the sales process. You will spend a significant part of your time travelling to and visiting clients across your region rather than being based in the office.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Acquiring new customers directly across North Holland and the Northern Netherlands through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
• Developing and maintaining strong, ongoing cooperation with existing clients.
• Engaging with customers via in-person meetings, phone, and email.
• Travelling regularly throughout your region to meet customers, with a company car provided for the role.
• Achieving ambitious sales targets and KPIs, both in volume and quality.
• Supporting customers throughout the purchasing process, offering expert guidance and care.
• Managing order fulfilment and handling administrative tasks with precision

What We're Looking For:

• Advanced knowledge of Dutch (written and spoken) and English - essential.
• Advanced knowledge of German is desirable.
• Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Availability and willingness to travel frequently to clients across the region. A company car will be provided for this role.
• A natural relationship-builder with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Industry knowledge is preferred.
• A technical background is a strong advantage.
