Job summary

European Space Agency in Noordwijk, Netherlands, seeks a Secure Connectivity 5G NTN End-to-End System and Validation Lead Engineer to drive end-to-end validation of 5G NTN within the IRIS2 program.

You will lead system engineering activities, coordinate with the Ground Segment Office, Space Segment Office, and industry partners to ensure traceability of requirements, performance validation, and successful demonstrations of the system of systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Four years of professional experience in space/telecommunications systems.
• Experience with end-to-end validation and system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementation and validation in IRIS2 of 5G NTN across space, ground and user terminals.
• Lead end-to-end performance validation activities including simulations and test campaigns.
• Define and maintain end-to-end performance requirements and KPIs.
