Job summary

NES Fircroft, Rotterdam-based engineering staffing provider, seeks an experienced 3D Technician / E3D Designer to support two major offshore projects.

You will maintain 3D models using AVEVA E3D and Navisworks, coordinate information across piping, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines, and provide visual updates on project progress. Immediate start available, 12-month contract, full-time office-based in Rotterdam.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in 3D modelling and model coordination.
• Experience with Navisworks Manage for construction or installation projects.
• Background in engineering projects within Oil & Gas, offshore, FPSO, petrochemical or EPC.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced 3D Technician / E3D Designer / Model Coordinator to support two major offshore projects based in Rotterdam.

Working across engineering, procurement, construction and assembly, you will use AVEVA E3D and Navisworks to maintain 3D models, support model coordination and provide visual updates on project and construction progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and validate 3D models using AVEVA E3D
• Generate model queries, lists and engineering data from E3D
• Manage and update Navisworks models to reflect construction and installation progress
• Apply colour coding and status information to communicate project progress
• Support construction and assembly teams with accurate 3D model information
• Coordinate information across piping, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and other disciplines
• Produce updated model views and NWD files for project use
• Support the integration of engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction information

About You

• Strong experience with AVEVA E3D and/or PDMS
• Good experience using Navisworks Manage
• Background in 3D modelling, model coordination, checking or administration
• Experience within Oil & Gas, offshore, FPSO, petrochemical, EPC or similar engineering projects
• Piping/mechanical experience would be advantageous
• Experience supporting fabrication, construction or installation projects is highly desirable

Important:

Due to the immediate hire, candidates must already be based in the Netherlands or within easy commuting distance of Rotterdam and be available to start immediately or within 1 month.

Location: Rotterdam

Contract: Min 12 months, likely extension

Working: Full time office based

Hours: 40 per week
