Job summary

M. Restart is seeking an E&I Work Preparator / Coordinator in Amsterdam. You will prepare and check work packs for compliance in an oil and gas project, liaising with contractors and engineering to ensure smooth execution.

The ideal candidate holds at least an MBO 4 in Mechanical Engineering or E&I and has 5+ years of experience in onshore and offshore sectors. Proficiency in Dutch and English is essential, with specific technical certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years relevant experience in Onshore and Offshore sectors.
• VCA Basic or VOL certification required.
• BOSIET 0.5A and H2S 0.8 NOPEGA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and checking of work packs for compliance with standards.
• Daily contact with E&I contractor to resolve issues.
• Collaboration with the engineering department.

For one of our clients in the oil&gas industry we are looking for an E&I Work Preparator / Coordinator

Our client is established in 11 countries worldwide and is active in the energy and water sectors. In the Netherlands, they operate as a producer of natural gas and are co-owner and operator of two gas storage facilities.

Responsibilities

The Work Preparator Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) is part of the Project Team covering the execution of the P18-A platform modification scope which is executed on behalf of Porthos.

The Work Preparator E&I checks the work packs that are prepared by third party vendors and ensures the work packs confirm to the client their standards and are ready for safe execution.

The work prep/coordinator will have daily contact with the E&I contractor on site for support and to solve potential issues in consultation with the engineering department.

Qualifications

We’re happy to hear from professionals with at least an MBO 4 Education Mechanical Engineering and/or E&I and 5+ years relevant experience in the Onshore and Offshore sectors. In this role you'll require both Dutch and English language skills.

• VCA Basic or VOL
• Electrical: LV and HV installations, E-motors, transformers
• Instrumentation: Valves including actuators, measuring and control systems, DCS, PLC, networks, PLC OMS (Siemens PLC, Toshiba PLC, etc.)
• Experience with and knowledge of Offshore technical installations and technical drawings and P&IDs.
• BOSIET 0.5A (Basic Offshore Safety Introduction & Emergency Training) and H2S 0.8 NOPEGA
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
• Experience with MRP systems such as SAP, Maximo, Oracle
