We’re building the next generation of maritime simulators and are looking for talented 3D Artists to join our creative team.
Responsibilities
- 3D Vessel Development Artist: Create and texture accurate 3D vessel models based on deck plans, photos, and technical references. Integrate models into our simulation platform using internal tools (e.g. adding navigation/search lights, anchoring systems, mooring points).
- 3D Environment Artist: Gather references such as height data, photo references and nautical charts. Use our Port Creation Tool to build terrain, seabeds, and place buildings and vegetation from our library. Model and place structures like bridges and landmarks. Add detail with elements like buoys, signs, and night-time lighting to bring scenes to life.
Requirements
- Experience with 3D modelling software such as 3DS Max or Blender and tools like Photoshop.
- Knowledge of UV unwrapping and the ability to create models based on real-world references.
- Strong understanding of real-time performance constraints, and the ability to work within texture and triangle budgets.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git or SVN. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar is a plus.
- A portfolio that showcases your work.
- A Dutch working permit that allows you to live and work in the Netherlands.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
