Location: The Hague, NL (100% onsite)
Employment Type: Full Time On-Site
Period of Performance: 13 July 2026 – 31 December 2026 (base). Options available until 31 December 2028.

Responsibilities
- Provide first‑level support for AV & VTC services.
- Ensure audio‑visual and video‑teleconferencing systems in meeting, collaboration rooms, and auditoria are fully operational.
- Perform troubleshooting, conduct daily preventive readiness checks, and maintain incident records and operational logs.
- Support the installation of standard AV/VTC room systems.
- Provide user assistance before, during, and after meetings.
- Act as a key on‑site member of the NATO Digital Workplace Centre (NDWC) and Shared Workspace Group (SWG) to deliver reliable AV/VTC services.
- Participate in continuous service improvement initiatives and provide opportunities for process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred; equivalent experience and certifications acceptable).
- Minimum 3‑5 years experience managing AV/VTC room systems (HP/Poly/Cisco, PEXIP, etc.) and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Proven experience as an AV/VTC technician with familiarity in HP/Poly/Cisco and PEXIP Videoconferencing.
- Knowledge of AV equipment such as cameras, projectors, control processors, microphones, and video matrixes.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Update management.
- Experience with IT best practices (ITIL) and ITSM tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with IP networking fundamentals related to AV equipment.
- Level 3 English language proficiency according to NATO STANAG 6001 (or equivalent B2‑C1).
- Valid NATO Secret security clearance.
- Stable team composition with minimal rotation and Purchaser approval for personnel changes.
- Proper handling of PFE equipment and mandatory use of the ITSM system.
- Immediate escalation of blocking issues and minimization of end‑user impact.
