Job summary

Chromalloy Holland is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Operator to support our aerospace manufacturing and repair operations in Tilburg. You will set up, operate and optimise 4-axis and 5-axis milling machines on highly complex components.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, performing tight-tolerance milling, conducting dimensional inspections, and contributing to Lean and 5S initiatives in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Technical vocational education in machining or related field.
• Experience with CNC milling and tight tolerances.
• Experience with 4- and 5-axis milling preferred.

Chromalloy Holland is looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator – Milling to support our advanced manufacturing and repair operations for aircraft engine components.

Working alongside your Team Leader and colleagues, you will contribute directly to the production and repair of critical aerospace parts used worldwide.

What Will You Do?

As a CNC Milling Operator, you will be responsible for machining highly complex aerospace components to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC milling machines
• Independently performing 4-axis and 5-axis milling operations
• Machining single-piece and high-value aerospace components with extremely tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
• Performing dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Adjusting offsets and making program corrections when required
• Identifying and resolving machining and process deviations
• Performing minor grinding and finishing operations when necessary
• Supporting Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized working environment

What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a skilled machining professional with a passion for precision manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Technical vocational education (MBO) in Machining, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in CNC Milling
• Experience operating 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Experience working to extremely tight tolerances
• Previous experience within aerospace, high-tech manufacturing, or metalworking is highly preferred
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM or CNC programming is an advantage
• Experience with single-piece or low-volume production environments
• Experience with grinding and finishing operations is a plus
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
