Job summary

Chromalloy Holland in Tilburg is seeking a Production Manager responsible for daily shopfloor leadership, ensuring production and repair processes meet high aerospace standards and safety. You will supervise 4 Team Leaders (15–20 employees each), drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, QA and Customer Service to deliver on-time, quality results.

Fluency in English and a Bachelor's degree with leadership experience in production or MRO preferred; progression

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with leadership experience in production or MRO (aerospace or metal industry preferred).
• Proven ability to manage Team Leaders and large teams.
• Knowledge of production planning and improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, TPM).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production and repair activities in compliance with aerospace standards.
• Monitor KPIs such as Turn Around Time, On-Time Delivery, quality and safety.
• Maintain a strong shopfloor presence and resolve issues proactively.
• Coach and develop 4 Team Leaders and their teams.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.
• Lead improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S) and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Engineering, QA and EHS.
• Represent the production team during audits and customer visits.

About The Role

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of all shopfloor activities. You ensure smooth execution of production and repair processes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will lead 4 Team Leaders, each managing 15–20 employees, and act as the vital link between the Operations Manager and the shopfloor.

You are not only a coach but also a motivator, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production and repair activities in compliance with aerospace standards.
• Monitor and achieve KPIs such as Turn Around Time (TAT), On-Time Delivery (OTD), quality, and safety.
• Maintain a strong presence on the shopfloor and resolve issues proactively.
• Coach and develop 4 Team Leaders and their teams.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.
• Lead improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S) and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with departments such as Customer Service, Engineering, QA, and EHS.
• Represent the production team during audits and customer visits.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree and several years of leadership experience in production or MRO (preferably aerospace or metal industry).
• Proven ability to manage Team Leaders and large teams.
• Knowledge of production planning, HR processes, and improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, TPM).
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Ambition to progress to Operations Manager within 1–3 years.
