About the Role

Swift is a member-owned cooperative that provides the communication platform, products and services to connect more than 10,000 banking organizations, securities institutions and corporate customers in 200 countries.

Driven by unprecedented regulatory pressure, increased customer expectations and fierce competition, the financial services landscape is transforming rapidly and Swift just renewed its ambition to deliver instant and frictionless transactions. Delivering on the strategy implies an increased focus on data and data capabilities as it requires an easier access to more and better data in a secure way. It also requires more advanced analytics to improve the customer experience, remove obstacles on the customer journey, and evolve from retrospective reporting to real-time, behavior-driven engagement.

In this context, Swift, and more specifically our Data and Services Tribe, is hiring a Product Manager for Swift Scope, to join a team of experts passionate about delivering high quality on-premises business intelligence solution that combines financial messaging data collection and analysis to support the needs of central banks and commercial banks for specific use cases. What to expect

• Product management

• Contribute to the execution of Swift Scope product objectives and ambitions, ensuring alignment with the company level strategy.
• Manage the Swift Scope offering based on regulatory requirements, serve customer needs, and stay relevant in the market.
• Understand customer pain points, consolidate feedback, translate and prioritize business requirements to execution plan.
• Support with the development of detailed project plans or campaigns, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary to meet agreed goals.

• Regulatory requirements

• Stay abreast of global and jurisdictional regulatory requirements and trends.
• Assist in liaising with Central Banks to interpret and implement reporting changes based on the latest regulatory requirements.

• Stakeholder management

• Collaborate with internal teams (business analyst, engineering, operations, customer experience, business development, global security, risk and customer support) to ensure cohesive product development and delivery.
• Assist in engaging with external stakeholders, including financial institutions (e.g. Central Banks) and vendors, to ensure good relationship to drive product success, as well as to keep an all-rounded feedback loop for timely resolution when issues arise.

• Communication

• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure product release communication alignment and timely delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with a diverse, globally distributed team, respecting and adapting to various cultural norms and time zones to ensure seamless project execution.
• Assist in presenting product updates and roadmap to key stakeholders.
• Contribute to customer webinars or workshops to create product awareness, discuss product evolution and potential enhancements.

What will make you successful?

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in product management with a passion for business intelligence analytics and data storytelling.
• Relevant experience in a Product development environment, preferably within a Data & Analytics or Financial Industry sector.

Required skillset

• Experience in successfully managing business intelligence solutions and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong adherence to operational excellence, setting clear standards for quality and customer happiness.
• Drives successful outcomes through collaboration, influence and partnership in a complex, matrix environment.
• Good stakeholder management skills to manage and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Result-oriented with a strong focus on achieving goals and delivering high-quality products.
• Great communication skills, with an excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Analytical mindset and conceptual thinking. Organized way of working.
• Ability to work autonomously, remotely from some colleagues and in an Agile context with its associated tools (Confluence and Jira).
• Team player mindset. Ability and desire to succeed in a diverse, multi-cultural environment, across varied geographies and teams.
• A good understanding of the Business Intelligence dynamics and tools is a plus.
• Exposure and knowledge on Swift transactional and non-transactional data is a plus.
