About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our thriving QQ Foods Product Sdn. Bhd. team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and smooth running of our noodle production operations. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our business within the Manufacturing industry.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day production activities, ensuring targets are met and quality standards are maintained. Prepare production plan based on daily schedule provided, arrange priority, monitor progress & revise production schedule.

Supervise and monitor operator's work performance, discipline, attendance and overtime hours

Supervising and leading a team of production workers, providing guidance, training and performance management. Ensure the team to follow company policy and other regulatory requirements.

Monitoring daily production output, machine downtime, line rejection wastage and handle production improvement activity. Monitoring and upkeep of the condition's of the production machinery.

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

Ensuring adherence to all health, safety and environmental regulations

Collaborating with other departments to address production-related issues and optimise workflows. Undertake other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Generating and analysing production data to support decision-making and continuous improvement

Experienced in upkeeping certification related documents and procedures such as Halal, ISO, HACCP, MeSTI and other regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or a similar role in a manufacturing food production environment. We can offer a higher salary is you have more experiences.

Good communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement

Proficient in interpreting production data and using it to drive process enhancements

Thorough understanding of production planning, quality control and inventory management principles

Familiarity with health, safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

Familiarity with production equipment, machinery, and quality control processes
