Job Description

1. Perform Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes and debug analysis.
2. Handle monthly managerial accounting close and reporting responsibilities, including analysis of inventory movements, reconciliation, aging, etc.
3. Conduct standard cost analyses (e.g., product cost bridge, routing analysis, yield analysis, CC analysis, inventory reserve analysis) and prepare reports for stakeholders including top management, auditors, and business segments.
4. Perform PO-related analysis (e.g., PPV, OPEX) and prepare related review reports.
5. Monitor EXR changes and standard cost revaluation, assess workstream impacts, and recommend efficiency improvements.
6. Complete defined closing reports, analyze significant fluctuations, and design or enhance reporting and modeling as needed.
7. Perform detailed cost and financial analyses, provide recommendations, and assist in resolving complex technical issues without precedent.
8. Ensure compliance with corporate SOX controls, US GAAP, statutory requirements, and support audit processes.
9. Provide ad-hoc analyses and reports as requested.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing cost accounting and analysis, preferably in an MNC FMCG environment.
• Proficiency in SAP, expert in Microsoft Office tools, with Power BI skills as a plus.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills; capable of challenging assumptions and analyzing business scenarios.
• Ability to focus on best practices in process and financial analysis.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Effective collaboration skills across multifunctional teams.

Preferred

• Professional accounting certification is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience managing workload across different geographies and time zones.
• Extensive experience in cost controlling, cost accounting, or related roles.
• Ability to work well with diverse teams and cultures.

Skills

• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with relevant experience in manufacturing cost accounting and analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP, expert in Microsoft Office tools, Power BI skills are advantageous.
