Job summary

SP BINA BUILDERS (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with a valid Yellow Book to oversee safety at project sites. You will monitor activities, ensure compliance with safety plans and PPE requirements, and prepare safety documentation.

The role requires leading toolbox talks, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with the Project Manager. Minimum 1 year of construction safety experience and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid DOSH/JKKP Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certificate.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant construction experience.
• Good knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Able to work independently and monitor site activities.
• Willing to work at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily construction activities and identify safety hazards.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with safety requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Carry out regular site safety inspections.
• Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
• Prepare safety reports, checklists and incident reports.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions.
• Coordinate safety matters with the Project Manager and Site Supervisor.
• Maintain safety documentation and records.
