INSPUR COMMUNICATION MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) – Yellow Book, full-time on-site in Bagan Datuk, Perak.

You will oversee day-to-day safety activities on site, monitor work practices, and ensure compliance with national regulations and safety policies. You will deliver toolbox meetings, coordinate safety training, maintain records, and work with project managers and subcontractors to foster a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications

Role Description The Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) – Yellow Book is a full-time, on-site role based in Bagan Datuk, Perak,. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day safety activities on site, including monitoring work practices, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with national regulations, Yellow Book requirements, and company safety policies. The Site Safety Supervisor will deliver toolbox meetings and safety briefings, coordinate and document safety training, and maintain up-to-date safety records and reports. This position will also identify hazards, implement corrective actions, conduct accident and incident investigations, and work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and workers to promote a safe, healthy, and orderly work environment. The role may involve supporting audits, liaising with external authorities or clients on safety matters, and contributing to continuous improvement of safety procedures and emergency response plans.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety knowledge, including understanding of Malaysian regulations, Yellow Book requirements, and site safety best practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in Safety Training, including delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness programs for site personnel.
• Candidates should possess Safety Engineering skills, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and implementation of preventive and corrective safety measures.
• Candidates should possess Occupational Health awareness, including promoting safe work practices, ergonomics, and monitoring conditions that may affect worker wellbeing.
• Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including incident reporting, root-cause analysis, and development of corrective and preventive action plans.
• Relevant professional certification or registration as a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) / Yellow Book holder in Malaysia is required.
• Experience in construction, telecom, data center, or industrial project environments is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to enforce safety standards fairly, and capability to work collaboratively with diverse teams are important.
• Ability to work on-site in Bagan Datuk, Perak, full time, adapt to changing project needs, and uphold non-discriminatory, inclusive safety practices.
