Job summary

Spektra WaterTech Sdn. Bhd. is seeking personnel to operate a wastewater treatment plant and ensure discharge complies with regulatory specs. The role involves daily checks, sampling, data recording, chemical handling, and routine maintenance.

You will collect performance and water analysis data, assist with sensor cleaning, and maintain a clean plant environment while escalating issues to the supervisor. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Willing to work at a wastewater treatment facility.

• Able to follow safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate wastewater treatment plant and ensure discharge meets DOE specs.
• Perform daily operation checks, monitoring, sampling and testing.
• Collect, record and update operation, performance, and water analysis data.
• Perform routine operation activities on equipment and systems.
• Prepare and top up chemical tanks as needed.
• Clear scums, debris and rubbish from sump and pump as required.
• Regularly clean sensors, tanks and equipment.
• Maintain general housekeeping to keep plant clean.
• Troubleshoot simple breakdowns and repairs when needed.
• Report issues to the supervisor on duty.
• Take on any other duties as assigned.
