Crown in Shah Alam seeks a Workshop Supervisor to lead and coach a team of technicians, ensuring safe, fast, and high-quality service. The role emphasizes daily task scheduling, documentation, and adherence to EHS standards in a busy industrial setting.

You will oversee inspections, maintenance of rental units, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, while maintaining equipment quality and customer focus in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in supervisory or management roles, preferably within industrial environments.
• Experience in capital equipment sales and servicing is an added advantage.
• Strong customer focus with effective relationship management skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Solid technical knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily technician tasks and coach and train team members.
• Enforce strict workplace safety rules and conduct regular inspections.
• Track job progress and update internal teams on milestones; maintain clean work bays.
• Ensure on-time customer deliveries and manage rental units and batteries.
• Handle Ad Hoc duties and additional projects as assigned.

About the role:

• Manage and support workshop technicians, including scheduling, performance monitoring, coaching, and addressing employee matters.
• Manage daily workshop operations to ensure fast, safe, and high-quality service while leading a team of technicians.
• Ensure accurate job documentation, monitor productivity, and work progress, and maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate work schedules, ensure timely unit delivery, support technical modifications, and perform pre-delivery checks.
• Oversee inspection, tagging, and maintenance of rental units, batteries, and floor stock in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Drive a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with EHS standards, conduct inspections, and report incidents as per guidelines.
