Job summary

Volvo Group Malaysia is seeking a skilled Workshop Supervisor to lead service management for the workshop and truck operations. You will manage mechanics and apprentices in the WTA department, plan workloads, and allocate repair orders to technicians to ensure productive efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, English proficiency, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will liaise with Parts to maintain parts availability and coach the production team toward continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Malaysian Skills Certificate or a Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
• Formal training in leadership, communication and people skills.
• Minimum 7 years in the commercial vehicle industry with 3 years in workshop management.

Responsibilities

• Plan workshop workload and allocate repair orders to technicians.
• Monitor campaigns and ensure on-schedule completion.
• Coach production staff and guide troubleshooting and repair estimation.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards in workshop.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to maintain stock.
