Qualifications

• Experience in garment pattern making and construction.
• Able to draft patterns from scratch and modify existing patterns.
• Good understanding of garment measurements, sizing and fitting.
• Knowledge of different fabrics and their characteristics.
• Experience in pattern grading and garment alterations.

Responsibilities

• Draft and develop garment patterns based on design sketches and specifications.
• Create and modify patterns for different womenswear designs.
• Adjust patterns to achieve accurate measurements, fit and proportions.
• Carry out pattern grading for different garment sizes.
• Work closely with fashion designers and tailors during sample development.
• Conduct fitting adjustments and make necessary pattern corrections.
• Ensure patterns are suitable for cutting, sewing and production.
