Doublewoot Fashion Sdn. Bhd. in Butterworth, Penang, is seeking a skilled garment pattern maker.

The role focuses on developing accurate garment patterns, working with various fabrics and ensuring proper fit and construction. You will draft, modify, and grade patterns for womenswear, coordinating with designers and tailors during sample development. Ideal candidates have experience in pattern making and garment construction, with a strong eye for measurements, sizing and fabric characteristics.

• Experience in garment pattern making and construction.
• Able to draft patterns from scratch and modify existing patterns.
• Good understanding of garment measurements, sizing and fitting.
• Knowledge of different fabrics and their characteristics.
• Experience in pattern grading and garment alterations.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Carry out pattern grading for different garment sizes
• Work closely with fashion designers and tailors during sample development
• Conduct fitting adjustments and make necessary pattern corrections
• Ensure patterns are suitable for cutting, sewing and production

About you

• Experience in garment pattern making and construction
• Able to draft patterns from scratch and skilled in modify existing patterns
• Good understanding of garment measurements, sizing and fitting
• Knowledge of different fabrics and their characteristics

• Good workmanship, accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and coordinate with the production team
