Job summary

UVE Technology Sdn. Bhd. in Bayan Lepas (Penang) is seeking a full-time on-site Wiring Technician to assemble, route and terminate electrical wires and cables according to drawings, diagrams and work instructions.

You will prepare materials, label wires, perform basic continuity tests with a multimeter, report defects, and collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams while following safety and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics and work instructions.
• Experience using wiring tools such as crimpers, cutters and strippers.
• Attention to detail and consistent quality in wiring and cable management.
• Basic safety awareness for electrical work and proper component handling.
• Good communication, able to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Experience in wiring/electrical assembly or manufacturing is beneficial.
• A technical certificate or diploma is an advantage but not required with strong experience.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Wiring role based in Bayan Lepas. The wiring team member will be responsible for assembling, routing, and terminating electrical wires and cables according to technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions. Daily tasks include preparing materials, labeling and organizing wires, performing basic testing for continuity and correct connections, and reporting any defects or issues to supervisors. The role involves working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure wiring work meets safety standards and company quality requirements. Proper housekeeping of the work area and adherence to safety procedures and company policies are expected.
