Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Well Intervention Engineer in Sarawak, Malaysia, to lead offshore interventions and supervise SIMOPS.

The role requires 5–10 years in well intervention, with strong coiled tubing and offshore/onshore exposure in Malaysia. The candidate will plan, model, budget, and coordinate offshore operations with service companies and operators. The position begins on 1 Jan 2027, with an annually renewable contract.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5–10 years in well intervention / services.
Strong experience in coiled tubing, offshore and onshore Malaysia.
Experience in slickline, e-line, pumping, wellhead and Christmas tree preparation.
Offshore supervisory and engineering experience managing well intervention activities (SIMOPS).
Experience in planning, job modelling, budgeting, and managing offshore well intervention operations.
Experience working with service companies and operators in field-based or desk-based roles.
Experience working under underbalanced reservoir conditions.
Good understanding of offshore well intervention operations, safety requirements and procedures.
