Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Welding Supervisor to oversee daily welding operations and ensure quality and productivity in a manufacturing setting. The role requires leading welders, coordinating procedures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will support TIG, orbital, and plastic welding processes, review drawings, and mentor welders to enhance performance and quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Welding Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or quality environment.
• Experience leading or supervising production or welding teams.
• Knowledge of TIG, Orbital, and/or Plastic Welding processes.

The Welding Supervisor will lead and support welders, monitor welding processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.

• Coordinate welding procedure and welder qualification activities.
• Ensure compliance with welding standards, specifications, and company procedures.
• Monitor weld quality and investigate welding-related issues.
• Support TIG, Orbital, and Plastic Welding processes.
• Coach, mentor, and develop welders to improve performance and quality.
• Review technical drawings, welding procedures, and work instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and quality.
• Provide technical support to production, suppliers, and customers when required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Welding Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or quality environment.
• Experience leading or supervising production or welding teams.
• Knowledge of TIG, Orbital, and/or Plastic Welding processes.
• Familiar with welding standards, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Experience in Plastic Welding (PFA/PVDF) and/or Sheet Metal Fabrication is highly preferred.
• Candidates with experience in High Purity Piping Systems, Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing, or Process Fabrication will have an added advantage.
• CSWIP, AWS-CWI, or B4.2 certification is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office.
