Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to inspect finished welds, oversee welding crews and maintain welding consumables inventory. The role requires strong knowledge of welding processes and strict adherence to codes and safety standards in a steel fabrication environment.

You will enforce OSHA/local regulations, report hazards, and ensure PPE compliance while coordinating with production teams to meet tight deadlines. ASNT Level II is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Possesses welding knowledge & experience in submerged arc welding, gas metal arc welding, tungsten inert gas welding, shielded metal arc welding and cored arc welding
• Minimum 5 years in steel structural fabrication & welding experience
• Hands on working attitude and good interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance, and committed to meet tight deadlines
