Job summary

ASSB Toyota Malaysia (Assembly Services Sdn Bhd) is seeking an Engineering professional to plan and carry out welding production line preparation, coordinating manual process layout and equipment installation with testing and commissioning.

You will oversee line studies, equipment sourcing, process preparation, safety reviews, and handover to production and maintenance for SOP, supporting the line until stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) or equivalent with good CGPA.
• 2–3 years' experience as a project coordinator or project engineer.
• Strong experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, CATIA, and basic C++ programming.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Project management experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welding basic planning, investment, line study, equipment sourcing and etc.
• Process planning, layout study, technical materials, detail specification.
• Equipment sourcing planning; specification, inquiry/order, design study and check.
• Process preparation; sample part ordering, equipment installation, safety study.
• Line trial with Production; sample part ordering, equipment installation, safety study.
• Equipment handover to production and maintenance for SOP.
• Support for Production and Maintenance during SOP until production line becomes stable.
