Job summary

SBN Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Welder to join our Masai, Johor operations. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for a full-time role focused on producing high-quality welded assemblies that meet industry standards.

You will operate MIG, TIG, and stick welding equipment, read blueprints, and prepare surfaces for welding while ensuring compliance with specifications and safety protocols. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Formal welding qualification or certification from a recognised training institution.
• Experience or capability in welding processes including MIG, TIG, stick and flux-core.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG, TIG and stick welders to join metal parts as per drawings.
• Prepare surfaces by grinding, cleaning and positioning prior to welding.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, strength and compliance with specs.
• Collaborate with team to ensure meeting production targets and standards.
