Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Subang Jaya. The candidate should be proficient in MIG, TIG, or Flux-Core welding and able to produce welds meeting stringent quality controls. A test interview, pre-employment and random drug screenings are required.

The role requires reading blueprints, welding symbols and specs, with overtime including Saturdays due to project schedules and site demands. Safety PPE must be worn at all times.

Formación

• At least 2 years welding experience, preferably in stainless steel and carbon steel piping/pressure vessels.
• Ability to custom fit various piping, tubing, and clamps onto skid base.
• Pass NDT on welds performed in 6G position.
• Professional Certification will be a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Read blueprints, technical drawings, weld symbols and specifications to properly layout, fabricate and weld within allowable tolerance.
• Read WPS and PQR and follow all variables to become a qualified ASME section IX welder.
• Must be able to qualify in the 6G position with TIG, produce x-ray quality welds with a high passing rate.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and codes.
