Job summary

Moseb Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a skilled welder/fabrication technician to fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems and steel structures in accordance with engineering drawings. The role requires hands-on GTAW (TIG) and SMAW welding, cutting, grinding, and fitting work on site.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, ensure accuracy and timeliness, maintain tools and equipment, and uphold strict safety standards with proper PPE usage on site.

Qualifications

• SPM, Certificate or a Diploma in Welding Engineering, Metal Fabrication, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, piping, fitting, or mechanical fabrication
• Hands-on skill in GTAW (TIG) and SMAW welding, with knowledge of oxy cutting and grinding
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical specifications accurately
• Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Experience in piping works on construction or industrial sites
• Own transport and a valid driving licence
