Job summary

Kiris Boilertech Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled welder in Kuala Selangor, Selangor. The role covers welding, brazing, cutting, and maintenance of pipelines and fixtures in plant construction and upkeep.

You will read P&ID drawings, follow ASME Code (QW-405-6-G Fixed) requirements, and collaborate with supervision and QA/QC teams to ensure quality workmanship and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Welding, brazing and cutting on metal using standard shop tools.
• Ability to read P&ID and package layout drawings.
• Adhere to QA/QC practices and plant specifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan layouts, construct, install, repair and maintain pipelines and fixtures.
• Weld metal components and piping systems with appropriate procedures.
• Weld and assemble stainless steel and sheet metal parts.
• Provide daily reports and updates to Engineering/QA-QC.
• Assist engineers with welding quality improvements and meet production targets.

Kiris Boilertech Engineering Sdn Bhd – Kuala Selangor, Selangor

Performs all kinds of welding, brazing, and cutting on any type of metal using tools commonly used in welding work. Works in accordance with KBE practices and specifications and the ASME Code (QW-405-6-G Fixed) for Welder certification.

Plans layouts, constructs, installs, repairs, and maintains all types of pipelines, fittings, and fixtures as required in plant construction and maintenance using tools commonly used in pipefitting work.

Work closely and interacts with supervision and QA/QC.

Reads and understands P & ID drawings and other package layout drawings to determine the appropriate welding process.

Weld metal materials to piping systems equipment using the appropriate welding procedure for the various equipment and metal types involved

Welds and assembles metal components such as stainless steel and sheet metal

To provide daily reports or current updates in Engineering Department and other related issues, tasks, and plans.

Assist the Engineer in welding quality issues and improvement

Ensure assigned daily work schedule and production targets are achieved

To carry out such other duties & responsibilities as per Company requirements from time to time
