Job summary

Arkoweight (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a highly skilled Calibration and Service Engineer responsible for installation, calibration, repair and maintenance of weighing scales across industries.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma in Electrical/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering, has at least 2 years of engineering experience, knowledge of ISO17025, and proficiency in CAD tools and PLCs. Will provide customer-focused service and detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years in engineering, preferably on-site calibration in ISO17025 environment.
• Solid knowledge of ISO17025 standard and calibration concepts.
• Strong understanding of mathematical and electrical measuring terms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).
• Experience with PLC communication and weighing equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of weighing equipment to meet ISO standards.
• Use calibration weights and techniques to verify accuracy.
• Prepare calibration certificates and detailed reports.
• Troubleshoot scale inaccuracies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Install and set up various weighing systems and equipment.
• Conduct initial testing and handover to clients.
• Perform preventative maintenance and timely repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service and educate clients on use and maintenance.
• Maintain service records, calibration logs, and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
