Job summary

Coherent Corp. Malaysia is seeking a Senior Calibration Engineer to lead plant-wide calibration activities, onsite in Ipoh. You will calibrate in-house equipment, support new calibration projects with the HYD test development team, and drive ISO 9001/14001 audits.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years in calibration, and strong metrology knowledge. You will develop procedures, ensure facilities, and uphold ICARE values daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Electronic, Electrical or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of calibration experience.
• Strong knowledge of calibration metrology and SOP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-wide calibration activities onsite and offsite.
• Calibrate in-house equipment and support new projects with HYD test team.
• Serve as Malaysia calibration site audit lead for customer audits and ISO certifications.
• Ensure facilities are suitable for new equipment calibration.
• Develop and implement calibration procedures with minimal supervision.
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and company rules.
