Responsibilities

• Oversee the weighing of all incoming and outgoing lorries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Verify delivery orders (DO), numbers, and quantities against purchase orders (PO).
• Record and maintain weighing data and documents for monitoring and reporting.
• Enter delivery order details into the C-Scale Weighbridge System.
• Coordinate with Procurement on PO numbers when not in the system.
• Compile daily delivery orders and submit to Store for SAP entry.
• Assist Security Guard as needed as backup.
• Record and report discrepancies to Weighbridge Officer or Logistics Manager.
• Perform other duties as directed by Management.

Job description

The Weighbridge Assistant is required to assist in managing the weighing operations, logistics coordination, documentation, and reporting processes to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant daily operations.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the weighing of all incoming and outgoing lorries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures

Verify delivery orders (DO), numbers, and quantities, ensuring alignment with purchase orders (PO) from quarries and suppliers

Ensure all weighing data and related documents are accurately recorded, properly filed, and maintained for monitoring and reporting purposes

Key in delivery order details into the C-Scale Weighbridge System

Liaise with the Procurement Department regarding purchase order numbers when not available in the C-Scale system

Compile delivery orders daily and submit them to the Store Department for SAP entry

Assist the Security Guard when required as a backup

Record and monitor the truck weighing process and report any discrepancies or variations to the Weighbridge Officer or Logistics Manager

Perform any other duties or assignments as directed by Management
