Job summary

Permodalan Nasional Berhad in Malaysia seeks a web developer to join the software team, building and maintaining web platforms used across multiple products. You will work with developers, designers and clients to deliver robust web solutions and contribute to the full development cycle.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST/SOAP and strong security practices for ecommerce applications, plus good teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
• Deep knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..) and APIs.
• Strong grasp of security principles for E-Commerce applications.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills to collaborate with different level of users, software developers, designers and clients.
• Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, basic HTML.

Responsibilities

• Attached to the software development team which is involved in the full development cycle.
• Must be able to work individually as well as part of a team.
• Conduct research & development efforts on emerging web technologies.
• Writing documentation for development.
• Update the progress of development on project Management tools.
• Develops and creates websites and associated applications.
• Designing and creates the webpage look, layout and features of a website.
• Ensure the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other tasks.
