Job summary

Anchor Consulting is seeking a UI/UX designer to contribute to UI/UX design, wireframing, prototyping, and design-system documentation. You will build, customize, and maintain WordPress sites, implement Shopify vagy other CMS platforms per project needs, and optimize performance and Core Web Vitals.

You will collaborate with design and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality WordPress and WooCommerce websites, assess feasibility, and guide junior team members.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMS-based websites including WordPress/Shopify.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility basics.
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and semantic markup.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI components using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Create responsive layouts and navigation patterns across devices.
• Collaborate to translate requirements into functional WordPress and WooCommerce sites.
• Review feasibility, identify risks, and propose practical solutions without compromising UX.

Contribute to UI/UX design, wireframing, prototyping, component design and design-system documentation

Build, customise and maintain websites using WordPress including themes, page builders, plugins and front-end integrations

Implement and support Shopify, EasyStore, WooCommerce or other CMS/e-commerce platforms based on project requirements

Optimise website performance, image delivery, front-end loading, code structure and Core Web Vitals where applicable

Apply technical SEO fundamentals, semantic markup, responsive design and accessibility good practices

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 3-4 years of working experience in CMS or other platforms such as Shopify, EasyStore, Webflow or similar platforms
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT or any related field
• Knowledge of website performance optimisation, SEO fundamentals, website seurity, backup and migration processes
• Experience with API integration, payment gateway integration or third-party system integrations
• Familiar with UI/UX design principles
• Knowledge or hands-on experience in web and visual design is an added advantage
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Canva is preferred
