Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a Wealth Lending specialist to support Private & Priority Banking clients. The role partners with RMs, ICs and Product Specialists to deliver credit support and a seamless client experience while driving lending activity on the ground.

You will build pipelines by sourcing NTB/ETB/NTP leads, structure financing solutions and ensure robust credit portfolios with strong risk controls. Malaysia-wide coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in wealth lending or private banking preferred.
• Strong credit acumen and risk mitigation abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with RMs, ICs and product teams to drive lending activity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with RMs, ICs, Credit and Ops to drive lending activity and product awareness.
• Structure tailored financing solutions for Private and Priority Banking clients.
• Join client meetings to assess needs and advise on wealth lending propositions.
• Pre-screen lending requests and prepare loan proposals that balance client and Bank interests.
• Facilitate loan applications and ensure a seamless client experience throughout the engagement journey.
• Ensure credit requests comply with policies, product parameters and regulatory requirements.
• Support drawdown execution and monitor portfolio activity with Sales and Credit teams.
• Share market insights with Product, Sales and Credit to refine lending frameworks.
