Job summary

Darco Water Systems Sdn. Bhd. in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan seeks a dedicated Project Engineer (Water Treatment) to lead projects from planning and design through to installation, testing and commissioning.

You will collaborate with customers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects meet technical, quality, cost and schedule targets. This role provides hands-on exposure to a range of industrial water treatment projects and the chance to contribute to practical, sustainable water

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in water treatment or related field.
• Experience coordinating water treatment projects through design to commissioning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee water treatment projects from design to commissioning.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine requirements.
• Prepare proposals, drawings, specifications and cost estimates for review.
• Manage schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Procure materials, equipment and services per specifications and schedules.
• Inspect sites and monitor installation for safety and quality compliance.
• Troubleshoot technical or project issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning to meet performance and water quality standards.
• Prepare progress reports, handover docs and project records.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian environmental requirements and company procedures.
• Share knowledge and support continuous improvement with the team.
