Job summary

Kerry Malaysia seeks an IETS Technician to oversee daily operation and maintenance of the Industrial Effluent Treatment System, ensuring regulatory discharge standards are met. You will supervise technicians, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain logs while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting to the Utility Executive, the role requires technical degrees and relevant experience in wastewater treatment, with emphasis on safety and cost-effective operations in a manufacturing

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Engineering field as stated.
CePIETSO certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
2–3 years in industrial effluent treatment or utilities environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor the Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS).
Ensure treated effluent complies with DOE Standard B discharge.
Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on pumps and dosing systems.
Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Supervise outsourced technicians ensuring safety and compliance.
Maintain operation logs and performance records; support improvements.
