Job summary

Cheme Advance Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Technician to assist the Service Engineer with day-to-day activities and site work. You will plan routine maintenance, service and test equipment at customer sites to meet target service levels.

The role requires hands-on experience in wastewater treatment operations and the ability to work on-site with rotating or fixed shifts, including occasional weekends or public holidays. Based in Malaysia, Selangor, Port Klang.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience or foundational knowledge in wastewater treatment operations, including system monitoring and basic equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work on-site on rotating or fixed shifts, including occasional weekends or public holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide service & plan routine activities to meet target service level.
• Carry out servicing, checking, repairing, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning & installation of equipment at customer’s site.
• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems, including pumps, filters, dosing equipment, and related instrumentation to ensure effective treatment and compliance with environmental standards.
• Attend to service sites punctually as instructed by Manager/Superior.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

Waste Water Treatment Technician is to assist the Service Engineer for the day-to-day activities and completing the tasks assigned for the followings: -

• To provide service & plan routine activities to meet target service level.
• To carry out servicing, checking, repairing, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning & installation of equipment at customer’s site.
• Operating and monitoring wastewater treatment systems, including pumps, filters, dosing equipment, and related instrumentation to ensure effective treatment and compliance with environmental standards
• Attend to service sites punctually as instructed by Manager/Superior.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assign.

Salary package :

Basic RM1900 to RM2300 + Performance Allowance + Overtime

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering/Environmental/ Chemical Science Course
• Hands-on experience or foundational knowledge in Wastewater Treatment operations, including system monitoring and basic equipment maintenance.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in environmental science, chemical engineering, water technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site on rotating or fixed shifts, including occasional weekends or public holidays if required.
