Job summary

Armstrong Auto Parts Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Penang to oversee inventory, stock control and daily warehouse operations. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock, enforcing SOPs and ensuring efficient use of space.

The incumbent will supervise receiving, FIFO storage, cycle counts, documentation updates, and overall warehouse discipline while coordinating with teams to meet performance targets and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory by conducting physical counts, reconciling variances and inputting data.
• Maintain stock card record, ensure cycle count had been performed as per schedule.
• Maintain safe and clean inventory and storage area.
• Maintain and enforce operation discipline at leader and operator level for daily activities.
• Maintain and supervise overall operation of warehouse, to ensure standard procedures had been followed.
• To ensure the optimal utilization of space.
• To enforce team in checking and ensuring the materials receiving in good condition and physical check quantities for every batch of material received, based on the packaging label.
• Enforce the principle procedure of FIFO (First In First Out) in storage and replenishment of component to minimize aging, deterioration and wastage materials.
• To ensure all the documentation had been updated in system within 24 hours.
• To ensure material had been stored in designated racking at all times.
• To arrange incoming shipment to be stored at bulky items storage area and transferred to designated rack once it touch.
• Perform physical checking of goods and to ensure stock card being implemented and updated at all times.
• Perform inventory control of incoming and outgoing goods cycle count, and housekeeping (5S).
• To ensure associates follow the Standard Working Procedure (SOP) at all times.
• To ensure SOP being updated from time to time.
• Participate in stock take activity.
• To undertake any other projects as assigned by superiors from time to time.
