Job summary

ALL HAPPY SDN. BHD. is seeking a Warehouse Operator for our Distribution & Logistics team in Penang. The role covers stock picking, receiving, putaway, and dispatch of FMCG products to convenience stores and retail distribution centers.

You will handle chilled and ambient items, operate RF scanners and forklifts, and work across cross-docking, staging, and inventory control processes. Fresh graduates are welcome, with a focus on accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years in FMCG/grocery/convenience store distribution center preferred; freshie welcome.
• Skills: Familiarity with RF scanners, barcode systems, and basic picking procedures.
• Physical: Able to lift stocks, walk/stand for long periods, and work in refrigerated/cold room environments.
• Work Ethic: High attention to detail, strong speed/accuracy balance, ability to work shifts including early mornings, nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Store Order Picking: Accurately select items and pack into delivery totes or cages.
• Receiving & Putaway: Unload inbound shipments, verify descriptions and counts, check expiration dates, move stock to storage.
• Cold Chain & Temperature Handling: Manage chilled/frozen items to maintain cold-chain compliance.
• Cross-Docking & Staging: Consolidate totes and pallets by route; stage goods for dispatch.
• Inventory Control & Quality Assurance: Perform cycle counts, report damaged/expired items, identify discrepancies.
• Equipment & Housekeeping: Operate hand trucks, electric pallet jacks, or forklifts; keep aisles clean and safe.

Job Title: Warehouse Operator (Convenience Store / Retail Distribution Center)=

Position Summary

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for day-to-day stock picking, sorting, and dispatching fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) for convenience store outlets. This role ensures timely, accurate store orders—ranging from ambient snacks and beverages to chilled/frozen inventory— reach retail locations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Store Order Picking: Accurately select items, inner cartons, and outer cases based on store pick lists or RF scanners; pack products neatly into store delivery totes or cages.

Receiving & Putaway: Unload inbound vendor shipments, verify product descriptions and carton counts, check expiration dates/shelf life, and move stock to assigned warehouse storage locations.

Cold Chain & Temperature Handling: Handle chilled and frozen inventory (e.g., ready-to-eat items, ice cream, fresh dairy) quickly to ensure unbroken cold-chain compliance.

Cross-Docking & Staging: ConsolidatePicked totes and consolidated pallets by store route; stage goods at dispatch bays for delivery driver loading.

Inventory Control & Quality Assurance: Perform routine cycle counts, report damaged/expired items, and assist in identifying stock discrepancies.

Equipment & Housekeeping: Safely operate hand trucks, electric pallet jacks, or forklifts; keep picking aisles clear, clean, and compliant with safety guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Preferably 1+ years in a FMCG, grocery, or convenience store distribution center environment preferred. Freshie is welcome!

Skills: Familiarity with RF scanners, barcode systems, and basic picking procedures (e.g., piece-picking, carton-picking).

Physical Ability: Able to lift up stocks, handle continuous walking/standing, and work comfortably in refrigerated/cold room environments (warm gear provided).

Work Ethic: High attention to detail, strong speed/accuracy balance, and ability to work shifts including early mornings, nights, or weekends.
