Job summary

INFICON Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Operator to handle receiving, storing, and shipping of goods within a precision instrumentation context. You will maintain inventory accuracy, use SAP and WMS, and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Based in Shah Alam, the role requires forklift certification, knowledge of warehouse practices, and ability to collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics to meet operational targets.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management practices.
• Experience with WMS, SAP, and MS Office.
• Familiar with various warehouse equipment and technologies.
• English communication and reporting abilities a plus.
• Hands-on problem-solving with attention to detail.
• CSCP or similar certification is a plus.
• Forklift operator certification is required.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
• Experience analyzing data to improve operations.

Responsibilities

• Support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
• Follow standard operating procedures for warehouse activities.
• Create and update warehouse data in SAP and other systems.
• Organize warehouse with appropriate bins, boxes, shelves.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
• Handle shipments with accurate documentation for timely delivery.
• Assist in annual physical inventory counts and inventory accuracy.
• Manage procurement for warehouse supplies and packing materials.
• Follow safety protocols and equipment handling procedures.
• Participate in safety training and process updates.
• Assist in evaluating warehouse performance metrics to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics to align goals.
• Assist in maintenance schedules for warehouse equipment.
• Support emergency response plans for incidents.
