Job summary

ESW Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead and optimise warehousing operations in Shah Alam. You will oversee receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, while driving safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

You will develop strategies, manage budgets, implement WMS and analytics, collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics, and mentor a team to meet service levels and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement efficient warehouse strategies to optimize storage, handling, and distribution of goods, aligning with the company's growth objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Manage inventory levels effectively, implementing robust cycle counting and stocktaking procedures to minimize discrepancies and reduce carrying costs.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment, conducting regular safety audits and training.
• Analyze warehouse performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless supply chain integration and meet customer demands.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies to enhance operational visibility and control.
• Develop and manage the warehouse operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

• Oversee all day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to minimize stock discrepancies, optimize stock levels, and reduce carrying costs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, occupational health standards, and company policies within the warehouse environment.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices in warehouse operations to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall service levels.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers to ensure seamless inbound and outbound logistics operations.
• Develop and manage the warehouse operational budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Utilize data and analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize warehouse performance.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth product flow and meet customer demands effectively.
