Job summary

TECHMAN ELECTRONICS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Penang is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage staff, and ensure efficient distribution of products.

You will drive inventory control, coordinate receiving, storage, picking and shipping, and implement safety policies to maintain a safe, organised site while collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Proficient in using warehouse management software and technology to track inventory and optimise operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
• A proactive and customer-focused approach to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotations, and product storage to minimise waste and optimise space utilisation
• Oversee the receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of products to meet customer demands
• Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a safe and organised work environment
• Liaise with other departments to ensure the timely delivery of products and address any issues or concerns
• Analyse warehouse performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Supervise and train warehouse staff to develop their skills and promote a positive team culture
