Job summary

Tasco Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse activities, optimize processes, and uphold safety standards at the Port Klang facility.

You will supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, conduct daily briefings, and drive continuous improvement across receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.

Key duties include inventory accuracy, cycle counts, FIFO/FEFO methods, GRN and DO processing, KPI tracking, and timely, accurate order fulfilment.

Qualifications

• Academic: Diploma or degree in logistics.
• Experience: minimum 3 years in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff, including assigning daily tasks and managing performance.
• Foster a positive and accountable work environment by providing guidance and training on standard operating procedures.
• Conduct daily briefings to align the team on operational priorities.
• Oversee end to end warehouse activities: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Coordinate workflow and allocate resources effectively to meet productivity targets and service level agreements.
• Ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment and shipment, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation.
• Ensure proper material rotation using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out).
• Process and verify all necessary documentation, including Goods Received Notes (GRN) and Delivery Orders (DO).
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, workflow, and space utilization.
• Track operational metrics (KPIs), analyze performance data, and prepare routine reports for management.
