Job summary

Rifeng Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Pelabuhan Klang, Selangor, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator to oversee daily activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and techniques to maintain stock accuracy.
• Strong understanding of material handling equipment and safe procedures.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
• Experience with shipping/receiving documents (bills of lading, packing slips).
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
• Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
• Mandarin communication skills, written and verbal, for coordinating with team/suppliers.
• Willingness to work onsite at Pelabuhan Klang, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock rotation.
• Ensure efficient material handling and storage, adhering to safety regulations and best practices to prevent damage and loss.
• Coordinate with the logistics team and external partners to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting adherence to operational procedures.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory, managing orders, and generating reports on warehouse performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the warehouse to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.
