Job summary

Sika is seeking a warehouse operative to join our Port Klang operations. You will unload and receive goods from overseas, record in SAP, and verify quantities and conditions. You will install parts on shelves per Proton guidelines and ensure buffer stock is ready, print stickers, and wrap shelves.

You will coordinate shipments and maintain 5S standards in the workshop. Experience with SAP is a plus; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for smooth proton-related logistics and

Qualifications

• SPM or above. Beyond education level, skills to perform main task will be key.
• SAP experience is an advantage.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with planning and import/export teams.
• Unload and receive goods from overseas; record in SAP, verify condition and quantity; store in Telok Gong racking.
• Install all parts on shelves per Proton guidelines and ensure buffer stock is ready.
• Print and place stickers per Proton guidelines.
• Wrap shelves.
• Prepare shipments based on customer service picking lists.
• Coordinate with Proton warehouse, transporter, Sika customer service and industry sales to prevent stock-outs and timely return of empty shelves to Telok Gong.
• Maintain a dedicated workshop, clean and organized per 5S principles.

Job Description

• Close coordination with planning and import/export team.
• Unloading and receiving goods from overseas (record in SAP, verify if it is in good condition and in the correct quantity. Store in Telok Gong racking )
• Insall all the different parts on shelves as per Proton guidelines and ensure buffer stock is always ready.
• Print and place corresponding stickers as per Proton guidelines.
• Wrapping the shelves.
• Prepare shipment based on customer service picking lists.
• Close coordination with Proton warehouse, transporter, sika customer service and industry sales team to insure no stock-out in Proton and timely return of empty shelves to Telok Gong.
• Maintain dedicated workshop clean and organized as per 5S principles
